Under the auspices of Eram Educational Society Eram College of Nursing is starting soon at Melaraiganj, Barabanki. In the health care sector following 3 new courses are being started in Eram College of Nursing.
ANM: It is 2 years Diploma course and will be helpful to get knowledge about setting up of operation theatre, equipment care and timely medication of Patients. Desirous candidates should have minimum 50% marks in their 10+2 exams, and not below 18 years of age.
GNM: It is a 3 year, 6 month course with an internship of 6 months. This in fact imparts knowledge and related information along with methodology skills reg. patient care & clinical treatment. For this course 12th pass students can apply. Students with Biology are however preferred. Admission in this course can be taken through state level Entrance Test.
B.Sc. in Nursing: It is a UG 4 year course for nursing aspirants and provides nursing details. Admission is through NEET as has been in vogue for other courses. It is provided through MNS Nursing exam and offers admission in Indian Army. Candidates with 10+2 passed in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subject can apply.
